  Introduction

 Sound is the result of vibration. Changes in vibration can affect the  loudness, pitch and  quality of sound an animal hears. Learn some  amazing facts about animal hearing. 

  Task

 You will do some research to learn more about how two of  the animals  below use sound to hear and communicate. Take notes using the note  sheet provided. You will be identifying unique features that help these animals hear and communiciate. Learn how animals use their hearing to capture prey as well as for protection.You will use that information to create a slideshow (PowerPoint) to identify some of these unique features and to show similarities and differences about how these animals hear and compare that to the way humans hear.
